Xploring Hungary Video: Rám Ravine
Rám Ravine (Rám-szakadék) is likely the most adventurous trail in Hungary, located in the Visegrádi Mountains. A great excursion destination all year round, including autumn and winter time.

It is between Dömös and Dobogókő, which are connected by a 7-km-long trail with around 1 km in the gorge itself.

Hikings here is complemented by adventure: crossing the creek bed many times, using rails and ladders to inch uphill over the volcanic terrain. The steep sides sometimes frightfully tower over the narrow gorge reaching 30 metres.

The narrow gap, waterfalls, plants native to such a chilly and humid habitat, moss-covered rocks and large leaning trees all contribute to this special athmosphere.

It is further enhanced after a storm or snowfall making it a true adventure park where hikers may prove their physical skills and sense of balance.
