Covid Update: 182,296 Active Cases, 113 New Deaths In Hungary
3,292 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 311,554. The number of deaths stands at 8,729, while the number of those recovered now stands at 120,529.

182,296 is the number of active infected, 6,382 patients are hospitalized, 491 of them are on ventilators. 

The number of infected people is growing exponentially throughout Europe, in the neighboring countries and in Hungary, and more and more people need hospital care.

The parliament voted to extend the state of emergency, and further protection measures were announced, designed to reduce the incidence of coronavirus disease and the burden on hospitals.

Since the epidemic cannot be stopped, the goal now is to slow it down, so Hungarian government is asking people for the cooperation, discipline and complience with the rules which are stricly monitored by the police.
