The Taste of Transylvania gastronomic and cultural festival — already established in Romania’s Transylvania region — will be held in Hungary for the first time from 27–29 March. The venue is the Transylvanian section of the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum (Skanzen) in Szentendre.
Hungary is preparing to introduce a new trademark to highlight high-quality, locally-sourced farm products, giving consumers a clearer way to identify fresh, domestic food on shop shelves.
Food is a powerful way to connect and to understand that we are all different – and that it’s worth getting to know and accept one another. When this message is conveyed through gastronomy, it reaches people much more easily than through lectures.
