Coronavirus: Homeless In Budapest Relocated To Closed Quarters
The city of Budapest is relocating homeless people at risk of contracting the coronavirus and those in poor health in the interest of containing the epidemic.

Residents of a temporary hostel at Gyáli út 33-35 in the Ninth District will be moved to flats owned by the city on Kőbányai út, as decided by mayor Gergely Karácsony on Monday.

Formally, the city is making available 71 of the 187 flats and three empty storage rooms of the residential building at Kőbányai út 22 until April 30, 2021 for the use by the Budapest Methodological and Social Centre to ensure accommodation for the homeless.
