Newer Anti-Epidemic Measures At Budapest Airport
As the number of people infected with the coronavirus has risen worldwide, new, strict security measures will be applied on airports and aboard planes, including at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

For safety reasons, passengers can check-in their own luggage and social distancing is obligatory.

While wearing face masks is not mandatory at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, it is mandatory onboard planes.

The airport receives 10,000 people daily. The expansion of capacities is also served by the newly built passenger pier, HírTV reports.

The option is also given to passengers to check-in their own luggage. After the scanning of their boarding card, a label is printed, the passenger places it on the luggage and puts it on the conveyor belt.

Staff are disinfecting and cleaning at the airport several times a day.
