Hertz Hungary: Services Continue As Usual

Earlier Hertz Hungary announced that their rental services are operating as usual, without any interruption. To update that, we received this statement from Mercur Rent a Car, which operates Hertz In Hungary:
In their statement Hertz declared that as the company is a franchise partner and separate from the Hertz company, their operations are not part of this process and that the U.S. Chapter 11 only includes Hertz's U.S. and Canadian services.
As you can read in their statement: "We are continuing to operate as usual, and you can expect the same high level of service and reliability as you normally receive.
We are pleased that Hertz has also confirmed to us that its locations and brands around the world are open and serving customers. All reservations, promotional offers and vouchers are available as usual, and Hertz loyalty programme points and rewards are not affected.
Hertz has assured us that it intends to use this process to emerge as an even stronger business."
