Largest Investor Sells Half Of Wizz Air Stake
US investment fund Indigo Partners sold an 8% stake in low-cost airline Wizz Air to institutional investors for £400 million, it was announced on Monday night.

Indigo thereby reduced its Wizz Air holding from 17.5% to just under 9%.

The average price of the sale of 7.7 million shares was £52 per share.

The transaction, set to close on March 18, was aided by Barclays.

The Wizz Air share price fell by 4.6% on the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday, but is still up by 15% this year.
