The lack of transparency in mobile packages is the main reason why Hungarians are not changing service providers, according to a research by Hungarian start-up BillKiller.
There are currently more than 1,000 rates available and one out of five Hungarians are dissatisfied with their package.
By selecting the right package, consumers could save tens of thousands of forints, according to the report, but only 5% follow the market closely and monitor offers.
The main factor in shifting between carriers is the price, followed by options for free or discount calls.
