Expats Without TAJ Number Can Now be Inoculated in Hungary
Registered foreigners without social security numbers and ethnic Hungarians resident outside Hungary can make appointments for inoculations from June 19, it was announced on official website koronavirus.gov.hu on Saturday.

The site said 55% of Hungarians and 92% of those registered have been inoculated.

It added that the two target groups have been able to register on the website since the beginning of May.

A separate English-language registration site is available for foreigners living in Hungary and the electronic health care service Eeszt online date reservation system is open to them from Saturday.

They can request Sinopharm, Pfizer and, to a limited extent, Sputnik V inoculations.

After the inoculation, foreigners living in Hungary and ethnic Hungarians will be eligible for immunity certificates.
