The country’s best restaurants and chefs gather in Debrecen on the first weekend of July, to show where the top of gastronomy stands in Hungary today.

Among the best restaurants of the Association of Stylish Rural Restaurants (SVÉT) and Debrecen, star chefs and guest exhibitor restaurants from Budapest will also present themselves.

Whether it’s fine dining restaurants, bistros or food trucks, you can be sure they’re constantly looking for new ways to present their dishes in creative methods.

In addition to mouth-watering bites, exciting textures and special pairings of ingredients, the three-day event represents artisanal beers, quality wines  and exciting cocktails .

Founded in 2018, The Debrecziner Gourmet Award will be hosted again this year, the votes of our beloved guest will decide on who will be the best exhibitor of the festival.
