Motorway Vignette Price Increases in Hungary Revealed for Next Year
Annual motorway sticker prices will rise more slowly than the rate of inflation but toll prices for shorter periods – bought mainly by tourists and those transiting through Hungary – will rise by double digits, according to a decree issued by the Ministry of Technology and Industry.

The price of a ten-day motorway vignette for D1-category passenger cars will rise from Ft 3,820 to Ft 5,500, while that of a one-month vignette will rise to Ft 8,900 from Ft 5,210.

The 10-day toll for motorcyclists will increase by 72% to Ft 2 750.

The price of annual national and county e-vignettes, which are more popular with Hungarian drivers, will rise by 5% at the beginning of 2023.

The cost of unlimited use of motorways for a full year will rise from Ft 46,850 to Ft 49,190 and that of stickers valid for counties will also rise by 5%, from Ft 5,450 to Ft 5,720.

The one-year motorway vignette for buses will rise by 33% to Ft 228,850.
