IKEA Plans to Help Customers Share “Wish Lists” in Hungary
IKEA’s revenue grew from Ft 109.2 billion in 2021 to Ft 130 billion, last year, nearly a 20% rise, the subsidiary of the Swedish furniture and home design shop announced.

The chain received 8 million visitors and serviced 3.5 million customers last year with is staff of 1,730.

Online sales growth was 21.6%.

IKEA is planning to open a design studio for customers in Debrecen in the first half.  A new purchasing method, “scan and buy” will be launched in the first quarter.

This system makes it possible for shoppers to scan the products that they put in their trolleys and avoid queues at the check-outs.

The chain also plans to make it possible for customers to share “wish lists” with their relatives and friends, who can use it to give them the products they want as gifts.
