Foreign Minister Anita Orban is currently the most popular politician in Hungary with an index of 55, the Idea Institute said on Thursday, citing their latest public opinion survey.
"Serious irregularities" where discovered during a review of extraordinary diplomatic passports issued by former foreign minister Peter Szijjártó, foreign ministry state secretary Lászlo György Velkey said in a video posted on Facebook on Wednesday.
Ministers of the previous government, who "betrayed the homeland and Hungarians for years" have now "accused the deputy prime minister of treason", Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Facebook on Monday, reacting to an open, unsigned letter from the former officials to Anita Orban.
The Bureau of the Assembly of States Parties (ASP) on Monday welcomed the decision of the new Hungarian government to reverse Hungary's withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the termination of the court's statute and the agreement on the privileges and immunities of the court.
