Retail Sales in Hungary Down 7.7%
Retail sales in Hungary fell by an annual 7.7% in July, dropping for the seventh month in a row, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.

Adjusted for calendar year effects, retail sales declined by 7.6%.

Adjusted food sales fell by 4.1%, non-food sales by 5.5% and vehicle fuel sales by 20.5%.

Month on month, retail sales fell by an adjusted 0.2%.

For the period January-July, retail sales dropped by an annual 9.9%, according to both unadjusted and adjusted figures.
