Dawn Heat Records Broken in Hungary
Unusually mild weather continued on Wednesday, with dawn heat records broken in the country and in the capital, HungaroMet said on its website.

A dawn temperature of 11.1 degrees Celsius was measured in Tatabánya, in northern Hungary, beating the previous record of 10.5 C measured at meteorological stations in Keszthely and Zalaegerszeg in 1994, the site said.

In Budapest, 9.7 C was measured in the south-western Lágymányos area, breaking the previous record of 8.9 C measured at Országút station in 1912.
