Award-Winning Basilica Christmas Fair Now Open in Budapest
This year you can immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Budapest’s award-winning Christmas Market at St. Stephen’s Basilica until 1 January.

The fair’s magical ambiance includes an impressive light projection show on the Basilica’s façade, alongside delicious food, mulled wine, and unique handicrafts. Perfect for all ages, this market also features a family-friendly ice rink and a festive program filled with seasonal activities.

At the Basilica Christmas Fair 2024, marvel at the nearly 12-meter Christmas tree, nativity scene, and monumental Advent wreath. Each Sunday, a candle representing Faith, Hope, Love, or Peace will be lit as part of a heartwarming Advent celebration.
