Biggest Investors in Hungary Recognised at HIPA Awards Ceremony
The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) recognised some of the biggest investors in the country at an annual awards ceremony.

Speaking at the Best Investors of the Year ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto noted that 77 big investment projects had been launched in Hungary in 2024, bringing EUR 10.3bn to the economy and creating 18,500 jobs.

He added that projects set to finish in 2025, such as German car maker BMW's plant in Debrecen and Chinese EV manufacturer BYD's factory in Szeged would pave the way for a "breakthrough year".
