World's Largest Thermal Lake Top Destination in Hungary Over Valentine's Weekend
Around 243,000 guest nights were spent at tourism accommodations in Hungary over the Valentine's Day weekend, about 20pc more than during the previous weekend.

Spa towns, such as as Heviz, Zalakaros and Hajduszoboszlo, were the most popular destinations for domestic travels.

Heviz, home to the world's largest biologically active natural thermal lake, was also the most popular destination for foreign visitors.

Revenue of tourism accommodations reached HUF 7.5bn over the weekend.
