Business COOP Group Turnover in Hungary Reaches HUF 860 Billion

Within the group, turnover of the Coop chain of shops, climbed around 1.6pc to HUF 530bn.
The group includes 2,100 supermarkets in 1,400 settlements, CO-OP Hungary CEO Geza Toth said.
Close to 770 Coop shops are fitted with solar panels, which generate sufficient energy to cover 23pc of the Group's electricity needs. More than 570 of the chain's shops take part in the collection of used cooking oil.
COOP's biggest franchise shops - with an area of at least 350sqms - had revenue of HUF 49bn within the group's revenue last year.
