Think Tank: Consumer Confidence in Hungary Increases
The consumer confidence index of Szazadveg rose from -19.2 to -15.2 points in August, the think tank said.

Among the sub-indices, the gauge of employment assessments rose from -6.7 to -1.9 points, the measure of the households' assessment of the economic environment rose from -33.0 to -26.1 points and the inflation perceptions sub-index improved from -67.8 to -63.3 points.

The measure of consumers' assessment of their material situations rose form -11.1 to -9.9 points.

Szadadveg's business confidence index rose from -16.5 to -15.1 points in August. The gauge of business environment rose from -24.5 to -22.6 points and the measure of economic environment climbed from -32.5 to -29.0 points.
