- Budapest Business Journal
The National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority said violations were found at 37% of playgrounds and 23% of the equipment, figures broadly in line with last year’s results.
The inspections covered public and institutional playgrounds, such as those at daycare centers, kindergartens, and schools. In addition, play areas located in the courtyards of hotels, restaurants, and apartment buildings were also included in the investigation.
The NKFH reminded operators that new equipment must be inspected before use, and all existing equipment must undergo periodic checks every three years.
