Sustainable Investment & Finance Association Established in Hungary by Major Players

Sixteen local financial institutions have established the Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (HuSiF).
In a statement issued on Tuesday, HuSiF said it aimed to promote the expansion of sustainable financing and support the channelling of a bigger share of private funding to environmentally-friendly investments that benefit society.
The founding members include Allianz Hungaria, Amundi Alapkezelo, CIB Bank, Eurizon Asset Management Hungary, Erste Bank, Erste Alapkezelo, FINEXT Befektetesi Alapkezelo, Granit Alapkezelo, HOLD Alapkezelo, K+H Bank, K+H Biztosito, KBC Asset Management, OTP Bank, OTP Alapkezelo and VIG Befektetesi Alapkezelo Magyarorszag, as well as supporting member Aquincum Sustainable Finance Nonprofit.
Preparations for the establishment of the association were announced in the autumn of 2024.
