14th Month Pension Introduced in Hungary
"There will be a 14th month pension," Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced late on Thursday.

In a video uploaded to Facebook, Orban said the decision followed a long debate at Wednesday's cabinet session, adding that the government was working on its introduction.

The cabinet has also decided to increase wages in welfare services and culture by 15 percent, double the allowance to foster parents, and set up an action plan aimed at improving the situation of children in state-run homes.

Further, government members decided to maintain the caps on profit margins and extend the measure by including an additional 14 food products, Orban said.
