Budapest Dawn Heat Record Broken on Saturday

The Lágymányos weather station measured 8.4 degrees Celsius at dawn on Saturday, a new Budapest heat record for this day, the HungaroMet weather service said.
The highest dawn temperature ever recorded on this day in Budapest so far was 7.2 C, measured at the Lagymanyos station in 2002 and at the Budapest Orszagut station in 1971, they said.
