Punk-Rock Legend Billy Idol Brings His Greatest Hits to Budapest Park on 8 July
Billy Idol recently announced in a funny little video that he is going on tour again. It's a Nice Day to...Tour Again is now coming to Budapest.

The punk-rock legend, known for his thrilling performances and hits, will return to Budapest Park on 8 July, presented by Live Nation.

For forty-five years, Billy Idol has been one of the most recognisable faces and voices in rock'n'roll, and his artistic resume fits the bill perfectly.

He first came to prominence as the camera-ready frontman of Generation X.

As a member of Generation X, Billy released three albums between 1977 and 1981 that made positivity, emotional depth and pop synonymous with punk rock.

Then, in 1982, he moved to America and embarked on a truly remarkable solo career that spanned not only continents but genres, bringing at once the pulse of the club world, the depth and drama of the big screen, the desperation of rockabilly, the bold and clear lines of punk and the decadence of rock'n'roll.

Billy Idol was one of the flag-bearers of the "second British invasion" that burst onto the MTV screen, with hits such as White Wedding, Rebel Yell and Sweet Sixteen.

His first solo album was Billy Idol in 1982, followed a year later by Rebel Yell.

The first album went gold and platinum in several countries, and Rebel Yell propelled the then superstar to number six on the Billboard 200.

Billy Idol has released 6 studio albums so far, but he also released two EPs in 2022 and rumours suggest that he could release a brand new album this year.

Until then, one thing's for sure, It's Nice Day to...Tour Again will bring the legendary punk- rock star to Budapest, so get ready for the show on 8th July at Budapest Park!

General ticket sales will start on February 21 at 9am.
