E-Ticket Insights: Contactless Payment Success on Budapest Metro in 1st Month

More than 67,000 passengers used the contactless payment terminals on metro lines 2, 3 and 4 in the first month of their operation, with 53,000 tickets purchased on line 3.
Contactless payment was earlier introduced on the 100E airport shuttle and the M1 metro.
Contactless payment will be on all of the capital's public transport vehicles by 2028, BKK said.
