Britannica International School, Budapest Students Receive Offers from University of Cambridge
From Britannica Team: We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two of our students, Napsugár (Class of 2025) and Mirkó (Class of 2026), who have recently received offers from the University of Cambridge.

Following an extremely rigorous and lengthy application process, their hard work and dedication are now paying off. Napsugár has received a much-coveted unconditional offer to study Psychology, having achieved 5 A*s at A Level last summer before choosing to take a gap year to explore further interests.

Mirkó has a conditional offer to study Engineering. His success is a particular privilege for us, as he has been part of the Britannica community since the age of six. His journey exemplifies the quality of a Britannica education. Mirko's offer is dependent on his summer grades. We are confident that his resilience, grit and positivity will help him to achieve his goal.

We are incredibly proud of both Napsugár and Mirkó and look forward to following their journeys into higher education and beyond.

Our Class of 2026 has applied for a wide range of exciting courses, including international justice, criminology, veterinary medicine and architecture, to name just a few, at universities around the world. We wish them the very best of luck in their upcoming examinations.

Some stories make us pause and reflect on what truly matters. Pál’s story is one of them. The 38-year-old father is raising two little girls – a four-year-old and a baby just five months old. Only a few months ago, his life was completely ordinary: work, family, plans for the future. Then, everything changed with a sudden epileptic seizure.
