1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
Marrying an Hungarian first brought me here but I moved to Hungary in 2007

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
Yes, in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta (since that was a different country than Canada)

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
Not sure what surprised me the most but I’d say the rich history of Hungary

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
I’d say the castle district

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Anything which has no túró

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Food lol

7.What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Egészségedre (because its so different than french)

8. What do you miss most from home?
Friends and maple sirop

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Lawyer perhaps but I love what I do

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Anything which would involve being several feet underground or way high in the air.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Sopron

12. Where do you hope to spend your next holiday?
China – but I’m not hoping that’s where I’m going.

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
U2, Cinema Paradisio as far as hobby goes... sports/movies

14. What can't you resist?
A good coffee

Red

Movie

17. Morning person or night person?
With a small child... definitely morning person now

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
There are quite a few frankly but it might be too long to list here.

Buda
