2. On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you with your life in Hungary, and why?
An eight, because I have my love for work (Foundation) and partner (Éva). The two missing points are caused by weak performances on the part of Government and Business.
3. What’s the best party you’ve been to while in Hungary, and why?
Last week at the four day Music Festival in Kaposvár. That was a beautiful experience, because so many Hungarian and foreign brilliant musicians.
4. What’s your favourite drink?
Tea in morning, afternoon and evening.
5. What hidden talents do you have?
Hopefully a few. But I do not know as they are hidden.
6. What was the most interesting travel trip you have ever taken?
To the Mentawai Islands (West from Sumatra, Indonesia) with very primitive indigenous society (1976).
7. If you were given a wish that could come true, what would you ask for?
To know that after my retirement Smiling Hospital Foundation will continue same way or better.
8. What’s the last book you read, and movie you watched?
Book: “Honour and Duty” by Ilona Edelsheim Gyulai
Movie: “Rundskop” from Belgium
9. If someone wrote a biography about you, what would the title be?
“From unhappy riches to happy rags”
10. What is the perfect pizza toppings combination for you?
Pizza Margherita is good enough
11. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be?
”Superman”, for using the speed to see many places I have not seen yet and to meet a few extraordinary people (nobody would refuse meeting Superman).
12. On a scale of 1 to 10 how unusual are you, and why?
An 8, because I am even more creative than my best friends believe me to be.
13. What’s the best website you’ve ever visited, and why?
www.smilinghospital.com, because I know it best and could judge it best
14. Who do you admire the most, and why?
President Obama, because he makes impression on me to be natural, very intelligent and to be working for his country (more than for his party or for himself)
15. What do you like best and least about living in Hungary?
Best: cultural life. Least: Hungarian attitude in politics and business
16. What has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
To have lost my wealth 20 years ago, because it gave me insight in the real sources of happiness and unhappiness.
17. If you won USD 30 million, what would you do with the money?
First thought: Give it to Smiling Hospital Foundation in order to remain happy (see question 9). Second thought: give part to my children. Afterthought: h’m.........
18. If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
'Aint no mountain high enough' (after being advised by one of my daughters ).
19. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
In Hungary for my work; in Holland for my children; in Indonesia to relax.
20. In ten years from now what will you be doing?
