"Hungary would be wise to change its media law “so as not to be in contravention of various fundaemental principles,” an EU advisory panel declared in a report issued last week. The group led by former Latvian president Vaira Vike-Freiberga found that the Hungarian media law has more restrictions than that of any other EU country.
