This watering-hole opened earlier this year in the heart Budapest, facing Károlyi garden. Csendes Társ (Silent Partner)is a wine store, café and pub all in one. The place is multifunctional: beyond the usual selection of soft-drinks, coffees and various types of alcohol, more than 500 types of Hungarian wine and around 200 types of Pálinka are available.

Mr. Hohner is the Director of Sales & Marketing of the InterContinental Budapest. Last year he took over from Bettina Haeberle who was appointed Area Director of Sales & Marketing Central Europe, based in Vienna.

Chef Czunyi started his career in the summer of ’69 in Hotel Astoria. After going on to lead several restaurants in Budapest, he was asked to be the personal chef of the millionaire Mr Milton Theo in Greece for 5 years.
