Each year the New Orleans Swingfestival manages to serve up new and innovative performances and 2017, which incidentally marks the 12th year the festival brings lovers of this still widely popular genre to Müpa Budapest, is no different. Siófok police have found that there was illegal drug use, but no violence, at a backstage party where three women were found unconscious last summer. The incident took place after a concert by Canadian electronic duo DVBBS at the Balaton Sound festival in Zamárdi.

A real international crafts festival, the Festival of Folk arts will welcome its guests for the 30th time between the 18th and the 21st of August. Being true to the tradition, the venue remains the Buda Castle and its surroundings, however due to building works in the Castle there will be a few changes.
