With effect of today, Taira-Julia Lammi has been appointed Country Managing Director of ABB Hungary. In her new position, she is going to focus on supporting further growth of ABB Hungary, and implementing transformation based on ABB Group’s Next Level Strategy. Taira-Julia Lammi succeeds Tanja Vainio who was nominated to Country Managing Director of ABB in the Czech Republic.

Foreign minister Péter Szijjártó has met with Croatian Economy Minister Tomislav Panenic on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum to discuss a dispute over the management of Croatian oil and gas company INA, among other issues, the foreign ministry said. Szijjártó confirmed that Hungary is “interested in cooperation rather than an acrimonious dispute” at the meeting, the ministry said.

Invitel will separate its retail and business services and is launching Invitech Megoldások (Invitech Solutions) for servicing the business sector, CEO of the telecom company David Blunck announced on Tuesday. Invitel Megoldások will have some 500 workers servicing over 6,000 businesses.
