According to the Association of Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers (HUNBISCO), the popularity of seasonal "salon candy" (szaloncukor) remains unbroken in Hungary, with the vast majority of people still planning to buy the traditional Christmas sweets.

In Hungary the Christmas tree is decorated on Christmas Eve, 24 December. In addition to the usual decorations, also chocolate pieces in bright wrappings are used. In the Hungarian tradition the Christmas present is brought by baby Jesus in the evening. Religious people follow the (Jesus kid) tradition and they go to the midnight mass, too.

Hertz’s Angels and colleagues this year collected money to buy a lot of nice games, candy, and fruit which they donated to the Children's Home on Gyöngyvirág utca.
We hope the children have a good Christmas this year!
