From the organisers: One afternoon in the summer of 2002, I was drinking wine with one of my musician friends in a garden in Veszprém. He told me that he had seen Pavarotti in Austria, performing in a cathedral which had room for about a thousand people.
He was surprised, that the Maestro gave a concert in such a small place.

From the organisers: This summer, until 17 August, the Vajdahunyad Castle Summer Music Festival cordially invites everyone to its programs, offering seven classical music concerts and performances by the Budapest Bar, the Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra and the Sabbathsong Klezmer Band. Ticket prices are uniform for each concert, no seat reservations.

With a decade-long history, the Budapest Wagner Days is a source of considerable pride, say organisers. Over the course of the past 10 years, the “Danube’s Bayreuth” has staged the complete Bayreuth Canon, i.e. all ten pieces performed on the Green Hill during the composer’s lifetime.

Total Dance Festival is all about the greatest hits of the 90’s, played out this year at Budapest's Kincsem Park Horse Race Course, with its "fantastic history and layout". Organisers also say that there hasn't been such a huge musical show arranged there since the Madonna concert back in 2009.
