Last year, 9,056 bicycles were stolen in Hungary, daily Magyar Idok said on Thursday, citing data from the National Police Headquarters (ORFK). The number includes only those bicycles with a value over 50,000 forints (EUR 159), as the police do not keep statistics on the theft of cheaper bicycles, the paper said.

Visitors can expect to view more than 200 vehicles at this year’s international truck country festival in Sziksósfürdő and Szeged, in southern Hungary, over the weekend, the organiser of the event said.
