I think we can safely say that the winter has gone and being replaced by the eating and drinking season! The winter blues have been blown away with sharp, dashing rays of sunshine. Zsófi spent her formative years in Eger with her two brothers, teacher mother and folk dancer – choreographer father. After taking leading roles in the student and cultural life of the city for years, she continued her studies in adult & continuing education and event management in Debrecen. She moved to Budapest in 2013 right after finishing her master’s degree.

However, if you utter a few Hungarian words like TÚL SOK (pronounced like ’tool shock’, meaning ’too much’), the crafty vendors will take you more seriously under the shock of being addressed in Hungarian.

Last weekend we ventured out into the north-east region of Hungary and visited the beautiful city of Eger. The City of Eger is over a thousand years old, with its glorious historical past, valuable historical building complexes, wines and curative waters is one of the most famous cities of Hungary. It was a bishop's seat as early as during the reign of our first king, Szent István.
