Magyar Telekom will dismiss 500 of its 7,500 employees, having reached agreement with its unions, the company said on Monday. Most of the workers will leave at the end of the year, reports Napi Gazdaság. The cuts do not include any retirements nor cuts in executive staff.

Employees were given generous compensation, three months extra pay in addition to the legal minimum and job-seeking benefits as well, he added.

In an interview with weekly Heti Válasz, Simon said Zelnik has not presented any evidence to verify that he is the legitimate owner of the disputed treasure.
