Hungary’s First Lady & Maltese Charity Appeal To Help Transcarpathian Community

First Lady Anita Herczegh and the head of the Hungarian Maltese Charity have appealed to Hungarian organisations around the world, asking them to help the people of western Ukraine, including ethnic Hungarians, affected by economic problems. In a letter addressed to all Hungarians, the First Lady and Imre Kozma said that rapid inflation in Ukraine put intolerable burdens on locals.

And everyone is welcome to join-in and support. So you can plan ahead here's the meeting time and place: 8:30am on Saturday 6th of December 2014 at the Nyugati Railway Stations's ticket offices. We are taking the 9 o'clock train.

In 2014 the Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, 9 November. The traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service. Those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45 please. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.
