The survey found that the most people do their regular Sunday shopping on other days, while one-fourth of the respondents choose smaller stores. Hungary is planning to ban brand logos from cigarette packaging from next May, in favour of a uniform look for all brands, featuring only text, Prime Minister’s Office state secretary Balázs Sonkodi told news website Index. This exceeds the requirements of the EU’s Tobacco Product Directive, which stipulates that 65% of the two largest faces of cigarette packages must be covered by warnings.
