A house collapsed in Budapest, leaving injured people trapped under the rubble. Several trolleybuses and trams did not run as their overhead cables were damaged in the storm.

Central Budapest’s Nyugati pályaudvar railway station has reopened after a two-week maintenance period in the early hours of Monday, meaning that passenger trains are again serving the station according to regular schedules. Most of the station has been opened to passengers, although there are still obstacles to pedestrian traffic on the building’s side towards the WestEnd shopping mall.
