State TV channel M1 plans to produce Russian-language newscasts from September 21, Duna Media Services director Balázs Medveczky told state news agency MTI on Thursday. The news summary Novosti iz Vengrii (“News from Hungary”) will air after midnight every day. Newscasts in other languages are planned in the near future. M1 already has an English-language newscast.
