The Budapest Transport Centre and a sports marketing office have placed TV screens on some city trams to allow fans of the Olympics to watch the games while they travel. The TVs will appear on the 1, 1A, 3, and 61 trams during the Olympics.

The Development Ministry will overhaul public transport fares from September aimed at making train travel less expensive than bus transport. Although the ministry did not declare its policy explicitly, fares for bus travel will be more expensive than on the same routes covered by train, Népszabadság writes.
