Hungary’s two-time Olympic medallist Géza Imre struck Epee gold at the fencing world championships in Moscow, Russia, on Wednesday. The 41-year-old Hungarian was up against one of the discipline’s finest, Frenchman Gauthier Grumier. In a tight affair, Mr. Imre won through by a single strike – 15-14 – while Denmark’s Patrick Jorgensen and Korean Seung Hwa Jung won bronze.

Infostrada Sports, the leading full service sports and media company, has issued a projection which forecasts Hungary to win 17 medals at next year’s Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
