The number of flu patients has doubled since last week, over 31,000 people seeking medical advice, epidemiology centre OEK reported. In the second half of the week, the number of patients seeing their doctors because of flu-like symptoms has increased in all parts of the country, OEK said.

The base salary of doctors and pharmacists increased by gross 107,000 forints (EUR 348) from September 1 this year and will rise by another 100,000 forints from November 1, 2017, Zoltán Ónodi-Szűcs said.
