2015 was the third warmest year in Hungary since 1901, according to the National Weather Service. Last winter was the sixth warmest winter while the summer was the fourth warmest, the report said. The mean temperature in 2015 was 11.72 Celsius, only 0.2 degrees lower than in 2014, the hottest year.
