Hungarian home prices have not been dropping lately and no such tendency is foreseen, while loans for home purchases could see an expansion, according to an analysis sent to the Budapest Business Journal today by real estate agency Otthon Centrum.

IT Services Hungary (ITSH) will invest 4.6 billion forints (EUR 14.9m) at its bases in the Hungarian cities of Szeged, Debrecen and Pécs, creating 360 jobs. The government is supporting the investment with a 650 million forint grant, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said.

The municipal assembly has approved a twinning agreement proposal between Budapest and Odorheiu Secuiesc (Székelyudvarhely), a city in Romania’s Szekler Land. According to the draft, twinning between the two cities is symbolic, creating a link between the “capital of the nation” and the “Szekler capital”.
