József Vágó (45) CEO of SÓLYOM Hungarian Airways Ltd. was born in Budapest, Hungary. He started his aviation career in 1987 at the Russian Military Aviation Academy as a trainee fighter pilot. After finishing the Academy with excellent results, he became a pilot (lieutenant) in the Hungarian Air Force.

Fresh news is that The Caledonia must close on the 4th of March for two months, apparently NAV has just contacted the pub's owners saying they made an "administrative mistake" about the closing date of 3 January. All related appeals by the pub were rejected regarding this punishment, and the authorities insist on closure since two bottles of the same spirit were open behind the bar, and ...

It is truly amazing how much power and influence a nonexistent party can assert on its coalition partner. I’m talking about the Christian Democratic People’s Party or KDNP (Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt). This non-party, which is not even considered to be a full-fledged coalition party by Fidesz, has enormous influence, for example, on education.

Dr. György Bárándy is one of the most distinguished lawyers in Hungary. Born in 1919, his family made a living from agricultural activities on their land in the vicinity of Törökszentmiklós, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary. He completed his legal studies in the Collegium Juridicum, Foglarianum in Eger, and obtained his doctoral degree in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca).

Schmidt Mária (1953, historian, Hungary) graduated in 1978 as a high school teacher of History and German from the Faculty of Arts of Eötvös Loránd University. She gained her MA in 1985 and completed her PhD in 1999. Between 1996 and 2000 lecturer at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Faculty of Arts, Institute of History; university professor since 2010.
