From the organisers: This summer, until 17 August, the Vajdahunyad Castle Summer Music Festival cordially invites everyone to its programs, offering seven classical music concerts and performances by the Budapest Bar, the Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra and the Sabbathsong Klezmer Band. Budapest is to host the International Wagner Congress from June 7 to 10, with around 300 delegates from 140 member societies in attendance, organisers told MTI on Tuesday. Events take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and lesser known Hungarian musicians are invited to compete for a prize of 500,000 forints (EUR 1,625), which will be awarded based on ‘likes’ by the audience.
