This spring, Pálinka Festival will set the mood for the city, for between May the 22th and 25th the Festival is once again set in Városháza Park. This new old location will host a record amount of exhibitors, nearly 30 of them, offering the best spirits of the country. This year´s special treat is the Pear Pálinka of the Year, which is a blend of Hungary´s best pear Pálinkas.

Over the last few years the 'Floralia' festival has become a popular family-friendly program there in the 3rd district of Budapest. The event offers a wide variety of programs including encountersoldiers, gladiators, craftspeople and actors.

When it comes to giving, it is said that it is better to give than to receive. This is exactly what the NAWA have been doing a lot of recently. I went along to two events that they were hosting. The first was in a long line of events called “Adopt a Granny” and the other was a gift exchange.
